The battle of the retro runners continues as adidas is ready to release an updated version of the Falcon. While the midsole is that of the upcoming adidas Yung-1, the reprisal of the Men's/Women's Adidas Falcon of the 1990s, this new model simply bearing the Falcon name features a new upper that spins off the design aesthetic from that era of adidas’ running footwear. Made exclusively for women, this upcoming drop achieves that chunkier, chiseled look that’s hotly in demand at the moment with at a reasonable pricepoint.



With this week’s announcement that Kylie Jenner would be the new face of the Adidas Falcon Shoes, the already-popular retro silhouette was thrust even more directly into the spotlight. Now, it’s taking advantage of that recent surge of publicity with a whimsical new colorway. Featuring a combo of white mesh and light yellow leather as the base, this new Falcon utilizes an ocean blue suede on the mudguard and heel cage while a dark navy blue suede panel adorns the midfoot. Further colored details arrive via a tan suede throat, mint green tongue, and orange midfoot branded logo, while a bright silver hit on both the lateral and medial mudugard adds a striking pop of flair.

Since its release, the Adidas Falcon Sale has usually leaned towards a more androgynous look with colorful retro makeups or more understated tonal offerings. However, it’s now it’s surfaced in what may very well be its loudest colorway yet: hot pink with a heavy dose of sequins. The upper is swathed in glittering pink sequins from toe to heel, while hot pink leather overlays running around the upper’s lower half offer some measure of normalcy. Small black adidas branded hits are present on the heel, tongue, and midfoot, and the look is then completed with a hot pink midsole and outsole.

adidas Originals will be expanding their women’s exclusive Buy Adidas Falcon lineup with a brand new "Shock Pink" colorway. Dressed in a mix of Pink and Purple tones. This adidas Falcon features Hot Pink leather upper highlighted with glitter detailing from the toe to heels while having Black detailing on the branded areas. Pink also covers the entire midsole and rubber outsole.

Its retro-styled upper and compelling midsole — borrowed from the adidas YUNG-1 — are perfectly on trend, and a release slate of colorways both casual and colorful ensure that there’s a Shop Adidas Falcon for every female foot. It’s not just in-line Falcons that are generating excitement though: a special version done in collaboration with Japanese retailer BEAMS is set to release later this month. Featuring an upper constructed of black suede, leather, and mesh as well as a blacked-out midsole, the new shoes add a bright pop of kelly green to the outsole for a touch of classic adidas EQT-style contrast, and are completed by the Falcon’s signature jeweled detail on the forefoot.
